Despite operating in the emerging alternate energy car market (and rampant skepticism that electric cars could even compete), Tesla had an incredibly successful IPO in 2010 and continues to struggle to produce cars fast enough to meet demand. It seems amazing that they’ve been able to pull that off without marketing, but Elon Musk’s explanation for their success is simple: a relentless focus on making the highest-quality cars possible. The vast majority of Tesla’s budget (and about 70% of Musk’s time and energy as CEO) is devoted to research and development. Musk only spends 2 to 3% of his time talking to the press, with plans to cut it down to 1% so he can free up time for – you guessed it! – more focus on engineering and design. Marketing done right can be extremely powerful; I’m not saying it has no place in your business model. The vast majority of us don’t have Elon Musk-level capital to fund our businesses and get them off the ground. But if it comes down to a choice between more marketing for a mediocre product, or money money spent improving product quality, I’d choose quality every time. Quality outlasts trends and bids for brief attention. It leaves a lasting impression – one that turns customers into lifelong fans and the most effective marketers you could dream of. Here you have to open a presentation and grab an audience's attention Questions, Quotations, Visual illustrations, statistics or facts, or stories. 2. Audience relevance and/or benefit. Explain in just 2-3 sentences how the listening audiences' interests connect to the topic. What benefits will listeners get by paying attention to the message? 3. Establish your personal credibility as the speaker. What are your experiences and research that make you a good person to speak on this topic? Say it in just 2-3 sentences. Sometimes, you will be introduced before you speak. If that is the case, the person introducing you can do this step for you. 4. Thesis statement. This is also called your main idea or central idea. It is the whole presentation boiled down to one concise statement. It should be worded as a claim/argument/position that you are taking. It should pop out from the rest of the introduction as your unmistakable main idea. 5. Give a very brief preview of points to come. Keep it very concise and pair it down to one word main points or at the maximum key phrases. Pause in between each point. How to Close a Presentation: 1. Singal the End. Say some phrase like "In conclusion" to clearly tap the brake lights and let your listeners know you are about to wrap it up. 2. Reinforce the thesis or main idea. You can change the wording slightly for style but you have to hit the thesis one last time. You can also briefly recap your the main points from the body of the presentation but only if it helps. 3. Call to Action. Especially in a persuasive presentation, you should explain exactly what action you want your listeners to take. 4. Clincher or Closing. Most people do not work nearly as hard on their Closing as they do the rest of the presentation but it is critical. It will be the last thing people here and remember. Use any of the techniques you used for Attention Grabbers. Use a story, a quotation, a statistic, a rhetorical question, an illustration. End with a bang. The magic comes when you connect the closing to the attention-grabber opening. It should be an echo or call back of your attention grabber. If you began with a story, consider a little bit more of that story in your closing. Chase Bank Closes My Business Account after Selling Bitcoin with Cash Payments!

What a surprise today to logon and find my Chase Bank platinum business banking account closed after selling Bitcoin using Coinbase at http://jerry.tips/coinbjb to buy and Wall of coins to sell with cash deposits! The CRAZIEST part is that they refused to provide a reason! Customer support said “We are unable to give you a reason why we restricted your account, suspended your online access, and are closing it within 10 days AND no one else at Chase will be able to provide you with an explanation.” Thankfully I see the positive in that this account was costing me $95 a month which I will no longer have to pay and it also saves me the time for selling Bitcoin. If I had to guess why they closed the account, my guess is that they did not like my $10,000+ in CASH deposits at locations around the USA in February 2017 from Wall of Coins Bitcoin buyers paying cash for BTC. If that did not trigger them to flag the account, it might have been my $20,000+ in withdrawals to Coinbase to buy more Bitcoin to send back to WOC. When combining all of these together, I can imagine how a teller or branch manager might have got all excited and alerted the fraud department. I felt so good about helping cash buyers get their Bitcoin and making a 10% commission in doing so that I made an online video course about it at http://skl.sh/2llwqa3 which I am guessing the JP Morgan Chase Bank N.A. representative that closed my account did not watch. I hope in sharing my experience getting my 4 year old business banking account closed with Chase and having my online access suspended is helpful for you if the same happen to you or if you are considering following what I teach in my class! The founder of Wall of Coins advised me to not take payments larger than $200 as deposits because of the risk of accounts being restricted but as you can guess I did not listen to that and accepted a $2,500 payment into my Chase account just two days ago for Bitcoin which cost me around $2,300 to buy. Maybe smaller transactions would help or maybe a different bank or maybe buying on a different exchange! Pay as retirement allowance Retirement allowance is subject to income tax, but there are favorable tax rules for taxation. First, only 50% of retirement allowance is treated as taxable income. Second, retirement income is subject to the separate taxation, which means that you can keep income tax rate lower. For example, taxes for retirement allowance is calculated as follows: (Retirement allowance - number of years you worked for a company ×400,000 yen ) × 50% However, please note that the excessive amount of retirement allowance is not treated as deductive expenses. 3. Sell your share You can sell company’s shares to someone else to get out from your business. Capital gain from selling your share is subject to capital gain tax. Capital gain tax is separate taxation and tax rate is 20.315%. Capital gain tax is calculated as follows:   (Sales price – acquisition cost of shares – sales commissions etc.) *20.315% 4. Pay as director’s salary The company pay tax every year and you need to pay personal income tax when you received remaining cash from the company. This is called as double taxation. You can avoid double taxation by receiving company’s all earning as director’s salary every year. Director’s salary is treated as company’s expenses However, please note that social insurance, such as health insurance and pension fees will become hire as your salary amount become higher. Also, you need to consider your company’s cash flow. Paying too much director’s salary will have negative impact on the company’s cash flow.

In this video I run through our exact sales and service agreement. The exact contract and legalese that we hand to our clients. Get a contract template here: http://bit.ly/2mpyFLs This is the exact contract we use to close business. The point where this comes in in the sales process is they've seen the price. They've seen the proposal or the bullet points or whatever we sent them over, the examples, they talked to the references and this is right before the deal is sealed. They have to sign this document for it to be officially closed. This is the exact contract we use to close business. Why is each of these lines in there: This cost me about a thousand dollars. I had to hire a lawyer to write this. So here's thousand dollars worth of value for you. Sale of Service [01:00] We list out what they're buying. The Cost [01:11] Here you provide the cost breakdown. For example, $10,000 for marketing and $4,000 for PPC. Payment Services [01:30] We do automatic billing 30 days after the previous billing period. Delivery of the Services [2:12] This section outlines exactly when we'll deliver. Term and Termination [2:26] This clause provides details on how to terminate the agreement. We demand a 30 day notice. Warranty [2:40] This where we use our guarantee at x27 that if we don't deliver we'll work for free until the goals are achieved. Relationship of the Parties [3:10] Legal stuff for tax purposes. Confidentiality [3:25] This is where you outline your NDA. Notice [3:28] It goes over how client communication works. Entire Agreement [3:53] More legal stuff. Amendments [4:00] Contract must be signed by all members. Governing Law [4:06] What laws are you governed by depends in which state your business is HQed in. Severability [4:09] Legal language that outlines that if one clause is thrown out the remaining clauses are still valid and contract is not terminated. Counting billable hours feels like nit-picking. Chasing client invoices feels like badgering. However productizing your services opens the door to value based pricing which is better than both. No more RFPs or custom proposals. Writing proposals and discovery meetings are two of the biggest bottlenecks for service based companies. That’s a lot of effort just to have a prospect respond with the message, “We’ll get back to you if we are interested.” Productizing your consulting services puts that time back into the hands of you and your team. Shorten the sales cycle. Consulting is an intangible service that can’t be seen or touched. This is scary for prospective clients because they won’t know what they’ve bought until after they’ve purchased. This fear delays the purchase decision. Focusing on a specific service allows you to create the systems, processes, and necessary support to be excellent. Your service is no longer based on your random creative brilliance. I'm Chris Melville and I am from Perth in West Australia. I wanted to give you a bit of a review on Sam Evans consulting accelerator course and tell you a bit of what life was like before I joined. Basically, I was working full-time as a business strategist and marketing expert. I really wanted to get out and have my own consulting business and I didn't know how to do that so I looked to see if I could up skill myself. I had already invested in another consulting training with another provider out of the U.S. which didn't really return anything. I went through all of his training materials and I found it quite difficult to implement. I also looked at lots of world recognized business strategist courses; invested in those. I found a lot of what they were teaching had great insight, but not a way to really implement it and get a return on the investment that I had spent on this training course. At the time when I came across Sam's ad on Facebook, of all places, I wasn't really thinking of wanting to invest, nor did I have the extra cash lying around to invest in a course, so it was a but of a hurdle to get over that to actually make the decision to go and do this. What I found when I listened to a few snippets is that it sounded like the "real deal". It sounded like he actually had a pathway for success. I threw myself into the course and went through it as quickly as I possibly could, humanly possible, and I was able to secure my first client which was a $200,000 client. Obviously I then invested some time into their business, but when that contract came to an end, I then picked up half a dozen other contracts. I have now secured a quarter of a million dollar contract where I am doing all of their digital strategy, setting up their marketing team and all of their business strategy around that. Coming from a business minded environment in the past, and being able to assess different educators in that, I can certainly tell you that sounds legitimate and he has a fantastic course. Probably the key difference between him and all other educators is just how easy it is to implement the material that he provides you and that it is actually, in some of it's simplicity, is really intelligent. I would highly recommend him. The opportunities it has afforded me, I am just starting to scratch the surface. Jump in. You will get your money back. You just need to implement it. You still have to do the work, but as far as giving you the right guidance, the right level of materials, Sam has done a brilliant job at putting the course together. Thanks very much and good luck.
