LEAKED 1.9Gh/s Ethereum Mining FPGA Cards Footage.

04:29
Today i show you what i know so far about FPGA's and their possible mining capabilities. As shown in the video, their hashrates on Ethereum for example could be enormous! ASIC's are nothing compared to these possible hashrates. Due to high pricings, and also the expensive software that will probably go along these cards, The return of investment would only be slightly higher than regular GPU's. They could possibly be better than the use of ASIC's, due to their flexible reprogammable properties. Let me know in the comments below what you know so far, or what you think about these. As i talked with Bits Be Trippin about these, he shares the same opinion as me about them. Until now, this is all we have so far and i wanted to keep you guys updated! I will hopefully see you guys in a next video where we find out more details about this topic. Is GPU MINING STILL PROFITABLE? 20$ PER DAY OR 2000 H/S On Graphics Card RX VEGA 56 SAPPHIRE NITRO+

04:01
IS GPU MINING STILL PROFITABLE? 6 GPU RIG 's PROFIT is more 20$ per day and rising. And spring brings an end to winter's hardness! I'm waiting for a new XXX profit from this summer mining adventure part 5! GPU: SAPPHIRE NITRO+ RX Vega 56 Hello everybody, it's mining club and today's video is about Sapphire Vega 56 Nitro+ . Let's begin! This graphics card has dual bios , two connectors for case fans, one here and second here. Coolling system of this card is very effective with large radiator and 3 big fans. That's why this baby is silent and ice cold! Memory of this GPU is Hynix and because it we can't flash it to Vega 64. Now, what about hashretes and test configuration of the rig? Power consumption of this build in idle is about 80 wats, fan speed - 33% and temperature in room is 24-25 degree. Power supply we used Deepcol DA600. It is Power supply with bronze certificate. On Cryptonight V7 monero v7 2000 H/S hashes per second, temperature of GPU chip is 53, of memory 60. On the wattmeter 250 watts. Minus 80 watts in idle and we have 170 wats per card from the wall. On NeoScrypt 1.5-1.6, 250 watts, 170 watts from the wall per card. Temperature 53 gpu and 60 memory. On Ethash power consumption of a build is about 220 wats and 140 watts per card from the wall. Hashrate is 42 mh/s. Memory is more hot than on Neoscrypt, it is 66 degree. In dual mining ethash+B2S with DRCI 70 Hashrates are 39 and 2700 . Temperature of gpu chip 60 degree, memory 72 dergree. I'll remind that fan speed is 33%. And power consumption of all build is 320 watts and 240 watts per card from the wall. Bitcoin Miner Software - how to mine bitcoins faster !?

14:08
Bitcoin Mining Hardware CPU's: In the beginning, mining with a CPU was the only way to mine bitcoins. Mining this way via the original Satoshi client is how the bitcoin network started. This method is no longer viable now that the network difficulty level is so high. You might mine for years and years without earning a single coin. GPU's: Soon it was discovered that high end graphics cards were much more efficient at bitcoin mining and the landscape changed. CPU bitcoin mining gave way to the GPU (Graphical Processing Unit). The massively parallel nature of some GPUs allowed for a 50x to 100x increase in bitcoin mining power while using far less power per unit of work. While any modern GPU can be used to mine, the AMD line of GPU architecture turned out to be far superior to the NVidia architecture for mining bitcoins and the ATI Radeon HD 5870 turned out to be the most cost effective choice at the time. FPGA's: As with the CPU to GPU transition, the bitcoin mining world progressed up the technology food chain to the Field Programmable Gate Array. With the successful launch of the Butterfly Labs FPGA 'Single', the bitcoin mining hardware landscape gave way to specially manufactured hardware dedicated to mining bitcoins. While the FPGAs didn't enjoy a 50x - 100x increase in mining speed as was seen with the transition from CPUs to GPUs, they provided a benefit through power efficiency and ease of use. A typical 600 MH/s graphics card consumed upwards of 400w of power, whereas a typical FPGA mining device would provide a hash rate of 826 MH/s at 80w of power. That 5x improvement allowed the first large bitcoin mining farms to be constructed at an operational profit. The bitcoin mining industry was born. ASIC's: The bitcoin mining world is now solidly in the Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) era. An ASIC is a chip designed specifically to do one thing and one thing only. Unlike FPGA's, an ASIC cannot be repurposed to perform other tasks. An ASIC designed to mine bitcoins can only mine bitcoins and will only ever mine bitcoins. The inflexibility of an ASIC is offset by the fact that it offers a 100x increase in hashing power while reducing power consumption compared to all the previous technologies. For example, a good bitcoin miner like the Monarch from Butterfly Labs provides 600 GH/s (1 Gigahash is 1000 Megahash. 1 GH/s = 1000 MH/s) while consuming 350w of power. Compared to the GPU era, this is an increase in hashrate and power savings of nearly 300 xs. (Calculate the earnings of any bitcoin mining hardware device using this bitcoin mining calculator). Bitcoin mining hardware list: Mining hardware comparison Unlike all the previous generations of hardware preceding ASIC, ASIC is the "end of the line" when it comes to disruptive technology. CPUs were replaced by GPUs which were in turn replaced by FPGAs which were replaced by ASICs. There is nothing to replace ASICs now or even in the immediate future. There will be stepwise refinement of the ASIC products and increases in efficiency, but nothing will offer the 50x - 100x increase in hashing power or 7 x reductions in power usage that moves from previous technologies offered. This makes power consumption on an ASIC device the single most important factor of any ASIC product, as the expected useful lifetime of an ASIC mining device is longer than the entire history of bitcoin mining. It is conceivable that an ASIC device purchased today would still be mining in two years if the device is power efficient enough and the cost of electricity does not exceed its output. Mining profitability is also dictated by the exchange rate, but under all circumstances the more power efficient the mining device, the more profitable it is.

How to Get Started With Bitcoin Mining

02:18
https://cryptocomes.com/wikicoin-how-to-get-started-with-bitcoin-mining Bitcoin mining requires quite a bit of computing power and energy, but there are a couple of options to choose from when starting out. After learning about how Bitcoin is mined and the way Blockchains are maintained by networks of users, you may decide to join the community and give mining a try. But where to begin? All Bitcoin mining requires considerable computing power, which in turn consumes significant amounts of energy. Keeping that in mind, there is a number of hardware options to choose from, depending on how much you are willing to invest. Hash rate and energy consumption The main consideration for mining hardware is its hash rate- the number of calculations it is capable of performing every second. Measured in megahashes (MH/sec), gigahashes (GH/sec) and terahashes (TH/sec) per second, a higher hash rate means a greater likelihood of solving a new block and receiving the reward. It’s also important to calculate the ratio of hashes to the amount of electricity used, by dividing the hash count by the number of watts consumed. Hardware options It is possible to just use your own computer’s CPU for Bitcoin mining, though it is also the least powerful option. In fact, in the context of today’s mining industry, it is nearly pointless, unless you improve the hash rate by installing an advanced graphics card with a graphical processing unit (GPU). For comparison, a CPU by itself will achieve less than 10 MH/sec, while the addition of a graphics card delivers over 800 MH/sec. A step above CPU/GPU mining is the Field Programmable Gate Array, which is an integrated circuit that can be configured for Bitcoin mining with one or more chips. This setup can generate up to 750 MH/sec with a single chip. The most powerful Bitcoin mining machines are Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs), designed especially for this purpose. This option is the most sophisticated and, therefore, expensive, but it produces incredible speeds, up to 600 GH/sec. Even so, mining complexity is constantly increasing, leading manufacturers to develop ever more powerful ASICs, promising up to two TH/sec in the near future.

A5 DashMaster ASIC So I have been looking around trying to find how much the difficulty rate for DASH will go up once these super powerful X11 ASICs hit the network. Will it be comparable to bitcoin mining once more powerful ASICs were released around 2014? This is a concern to those who are holding 2 year cloud mining contracts with genesis mining or hashflare. It looks like for the price to get 4M0anS before X11 sold out on Genesis, the cost was about $4500. The new ASIC shipping in September will generate 38,000 Giga Hash per second when overclocked and only cost $9999 for the hardware and 1250W of energy. What the heck. So for 5% of the hashpower we paid as much as the the new miners coming out… At this point, that means the only profitable contracts still available on Genesis would be the lifetime bitcoin SHA 256 mining. The new ASIC miners are not on the network yet so difficulty has not yet adjusted for DASH. Based on the number of units sold and combined hash power compared to existing hash power, there has to be a way to project the future difficulty. No doubt the A5 will sell out almost instantly but let’s look at difficulty if it triples or quadruples after the additional hash power hits the network. Using a random mining calculator for dash we see that the current difficulty is about 600,000. I only have 163 MH/S in contracts that cost me about $800 and looks like a measly $1.80 per day in returns. I don’t even want to know what it is going to be once the ASICs are plugged in. Here is what it would be if you got your hands on one of these today with the current difficulty, $412 a day, very nice and would quickly pay back the hardware costs. Mining difficulty triples, profit down to $135 with the new ASIC. Quadruple todays difficulty, still $100 a day. Difficulty times 5, still $73 and about $2200 a month, not too bad. Difficulty times 10, about a $1000 per month with the new miners. Times 20 current difficulty, would only see profits of $386 a month. So these miners would be a way better investment than cloud mining, unless somehow they start offering contracts for X11 that are proportional to the new hardware. This is just one of the risks taking with cloud mining. It seemed safe to invest in Genesis X11 but now it is not looking so good. I am no expert on this subject but am learning as I go, but using simple math the difficulty for DASH will increase drastically with these new machines and those locked in to contracts will begin to see their profits drop a lot around October 2017. The best case scenario is that the price of DASH will skyrocket as well, keeping the profits somewhat proportional to the hash power, we can only hope. 5/30/14 - Bitcoin back over $600, Canada at odds over regulation, & TrueCrypt compromised

03:52
http://moneyandtech.com/may-30-news-update/ The price of bitcoin surpassed $600 this morning, for the first time in three months, rising over 7 percent in the past 24 hours and nearly 37 percent in the past month. It's unclear what has caused this price boost, but the new upward trend has no doubt benefited from recent good news such as major US satellite service provider DISH Network's plans to start accepting bitcoin later this year. A team based in Spain is hoping to create the first open-source, decentralized bitcoin exchange algorithm called Coinffeine, which would allow the creation of a truly trustless peer-to-peer exchange platform similar to BitTorrent, complete with no transaction fees and faster transfer times. This way, according to co-founder and CTO Ximo Guanter, "Users are always in control of their money, both the bitcoins and the local currencies... Even if some government thought this was a really bad project and shut us down, the network would still work. It doesn't depend on us existing as a company." Popular open-source encryption program TrueCrypt - which was favored by many including famed whistle blower Edward Snowden - has been compromised according to its anonymous developers. A notice on its SourceForge page Wednesday deemed the program "not secure" due to "unfixed security issues". Users are instead instructed to migrate to Microsoft's BitLocker, a similar program available only on limited versions of Windows. The Open Crypto Audit Project is underway to examine TrueCrypt's code for any potential flaws or backdoors, but has found nothing of alarm yet. The Montreal Economic Institute has published a research report on bitcoin regulation, concluding that bitcoin will require regulation in order to thrive. In response, the Bitcoin Foundation Canada issued their own statement with an opposing view, saying "Government intervention is not required for Bitcoin to develop and become accepted by the Canadian public... Canadian authorities must maintain their current neutral regulatory stance if these businesses are to continue investing and creating jobs in Canada." Banks in the Netherlands are starting to explore doing business with ventures focused on virtual currency, and say they are following the lead of their new clients and looking into the innovative new payment system. Mark Buitenhek, global head of transaction services at the country's largest bank ING said recently that Customers want change, and that change could be bitcoin. Even the Dutch central bank is open to it, as policy officer for innovation and cybersecurity Kim Gunnink says technological innovations like digital currencies "can entail huge opportunities and large benefits for society." Bitcoin mining hardware is now available for purchase on Walmart.com. However, selection is still a bit limited. The only machine currently on sale is a 10 giga-hash Butterfly Labs miner for $300 - which isn't the fastest machine on the market, and is actually listed as being sold and shipped via TigerDirect, instead of directly through Walmart. As one review on TigerDirect noted, at current prices the miner would take "541 days to break even not counting power costs.' And Melbourne-based gaming experience company IRL Shooter is accepting bitcoin pledges to help bring back their zombie outbreak game Lazarus, wherein players work together in teams to blast their way out of a zombie-infested hospital. Pledges will receive a ticket to play the game and, depending on the donation level, could also include a whole range of power-ups and bonuses as well. Money & Tech attended the latest San Francisco Bitcoin Meetup at RackSpace earlier this week, where Kord Campbell presented his new company StackMonkey which uses the Bitcoin technology to revolutionize compute and eliminate cloud payment fraud. http://moneyandtech.com/may-30-news-update/
