Wide of Mugabe's limousine driving off STORYLINE: Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe arrived home from Asia on Thursday morning as his party denied reports he had suffered a health emergency. The eighty-eight year old was met at Harare International Airport by party leaders and military chiefs under normal protocol. He did not speak to waiting reporters. Mugabe's party dismissed reports that he had been gravely ill as "a lot of hogwash" by hostile Western media organisations. Mugabe landed in a private jet chartered by a diamond mining company. The state airline he routinely used was grounded by debts in January. Mugabe is expected to chair a ministerial meeting later on Thursday, two days later than first scheduled. He's made ten trips to Singapore in the past 16 months, reportedly for medical treatment. Rumoured to be under treatment for prostate cancer, he has called for elections this year and has been nominated as his party's only presidential candidate. Mugabe's office said that he left Harare on March 31 to supervise postgraduate studies for his 22-year-old daughter Bona in Hong Kong. Mugabe has appeared robust at recent public appearances. In broadcasts marking his 88th birthday in February he said he was "as fit as a fiddle." He joked then he had been resurrected more often than Jesus Christ after detractors frequently pronounced him dead. Diamonds are Botswana's best friend

13:14
Botswana is located in Southern Africa and bordered by South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe. It is a mid-sized country of just over 2 million people. For the most part the country is flat, dry and 70 per cent is covered by the Kalahari Desert. Botswana is part of an elite club of Africa's preeminent economic performers, and this is thanks to the discovery of diamonds.

FREE LIVE MASTERCLASS: https://londonreal.tv/masterclass/ SIMON MANN - THE MERCENARY - Part 1/2 | London Real FULL FREE EPISODE: https://londonreal.tv/simon-mann/ SUBSCRIBE ON YOUTUBE: http://bit.ly/SubscribeToLondonReal Simon Francis Mann (born 26 June 1952) is a British mercenary and former British Army officer. He served part of a 34-year prison sentence in Equatorial Guinea for his role in a failed coup d'état in 2004, before receiving a presidential pardon on humanitarian grounds on 2 November 2009. Mann was extradited from Zimbabwe to Equatorial Guinea on 1 February 2008, having been accused of planning a coup d'état to overthrow the government by leading a mercenary force into the capital Malabo in an effort to overthrow President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo. Charges in South Africa of aiding a coup in a foreign country were dropped on 23 February 2007, but the charges remained in Equatorial Guinea, where he had been convicted in absentia in November 2004. He lost an extradition hearing to Equatorial Guinea after serving three years of a four-year prison sentence in Zimbabwe for the same crimes and being released early on good behaviour. Upon Mann's arrival in Equatorial Guinea for his trial in Malabo, public Prosecutor Jose Olo Obono said that Mann would face three charges – crimes against the head of state, crimes against the government, and crimes against the peace and independence of the state. On 7 July 2008, he was sentenced to 34 years and four months in prison by a Malabo court. He was released on 2 November 2009, on humanitarian grounds. As Minister for Healing and Reconciliation she is striving to unite the country, but many want justice, not reconciliation. "Of over 200 deaths that occurred in 2008, there has been only one prosecution resulting in a conviction of those responsible," explains Dewa Mavhinga of human rights group, Crisis in Zimbabwe Coalition. Mnangagwa signs $4.2 billion mining deal with foreign investors

03:16
Karo Resources, a company linked to mining entrepreneur Loucas Pouroulis, will spend $4.2billion on a Zimbabwean platinum project in the first big investment since President Robert Mugabe’s ousting in November. The government has escalated its commitment to open business with President Emmerson Mnangagwa stating that relevant ministries should have a culture change in handling investors’ affairs. The deal is the largest to date in Zimbabwe’s mining industry, Mines Minister Winston Chitando said.President Emmerson Mnangagwa has declared the “country open for business” as he seeks to revive the economy and attract investment.“It is not business as usual anymore,” the president told reporters on Thursday.“Things have to change.”President Mnangagwa noted that Zimbabwe had to wait for at least half a decade to conclude this agreement having started negotiations in 2012.“Had this agreement been concluded then the current foreign currency shortages could have been averted,” said President Mnangagwa.Karo’s platinum project will start up in 2020 and produce 1.4million ounces a year of platinum-group metals at full output, potentially making it the country’s top producer by 2023, Chitando said.Zimbabwe has the second-biggest reserves of the metals after South Africa. The project will also include a 600 megawatt power plant and coal-mining operations to feed it.Pouroulis has a long history in southern African mining. He set up South African platinum-mining ventures Lefkochrysos, which means ‘white gold’ in Greek, and Eland Platinum.Eland was sold to Xstrata Plc in 2007 for the equivalent of $1.1billion.His son Phoevos met Mnangagwa in the president’s office in January.– Bloomberg.

Botswana Diamonds PLC hails partner exploration technology

10:44
John Teeling, chairman of Botswana Diamonds PLC (LON:BOD), says he is very impressed with the technical expertise of Russian partner Alrosa (MCX:ALRS) as they embark on a 16-week diamond exploration and evaluation project in Botswana. The Kalahari Desert covers 93% of Botswana and Teeling tells Proactive about the challenges of the sand and basalt rock overburden of the prospect. Alrosa’s technology was developed in the Siberian tundra and Teeling emphasises that the Russian company believes “explicitly that they can see through 85 or 100 metres of overburden to see what’s beneath and that’s what’s needed in Botswana.”

The Anunnaki, African Gold, Collapse of the Petro-Dollar, and Ebola Crisis!

20:17
Update: added CC 12.1.14. Be sure to choose the CC English, not the automated English for an accurate transcript. Just when you thought you had the Ebola scare correlated with the Immigration crisis, another piece of the puzzle falls into place. Enki's assigned domain, Africa, is under assault by his opposing forces represented by the NWO and their gold-lusting bankers. Note that the African populace has been enslaved both internally and externally (think Blood Diamond-De Beers) and Slavery for sugar cane and farming. Now consider the HIV-Aids focal point in the world, at least initially and probably still the case: Africa, again Enki's domain under biological assault. Then comes yet another disease (Ebola) scare in the place of mankind's origins, Africa...Consider the fact that the world is moving back to the gold standard, i.e. BRICS nations have already made their choice and signed trade agreements with other nations to do the same. This is the end of the American petro-dollar and America will do anything to get the gold before it is too late. Lucky for the NWO forces, they have the African gold surrounded with a biological quarantine area, keeps the mining stakes more secure that way...Enjoy Below is the outline and references for this research. In which John Green teaches you about the Democratic Republic of the Congo, which used to be Zaire, which used to be The Belgian Congo, which used to be the Congo Free State, which used to be the region surrounding the Congo River Basin in central Africa. So the history of this place is a little convoluted. The history of Congo is central to the history of central Africa, and the Congo Wars embroiled neighboring countries like Uganda and Rwanda. Temba Mliswa EXPOSES serious corruption at NSSA involving several Ministers, Mnangagwa given all evi

Temba Mliswa EXPOSES serious corruption at NSSA involving several Ministers: Mnangagwa given all evidence. PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa’s office has a received a new dossier on alleged corruption at the National Social Security Authority (Nssa) delivered this week by Norton Member of Parliament Themba Mliswa, it has been established. Mliswa, who has emerged as a self-styled corruption-buster using his position as parliamentary portfolio committee on mines and energy chairperson as well as his influence on micro-blogging site Twitter, distributed the dossier to Mnangagwa’s office and other top workplaces. The report was also hand-delivered to Vice-Presidents Constantino Chiwenga and Kembo Mohadi; Justice minister Ziyambi Ziyambi; Labour and Social Welfare minister Petronella Kagonye; Home Affairs minister Obert Mpofu; Zimbabwe Defence Forces commander General Phillip Valerio Sibanda; Prosecutor-General Ray Goba; Police Commissioner-General Godwin Matanga; Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission; and Central Intelligence Organisation boss Isaac Moyo, among other senior officials. Of late, Mliswa has been on controversial businessman Wicknell Chivayo and senior government officials’ cases over alleged corruption activities. The Nssa corruption dossier, titled The Abuse and Capture of National Social Security Authority, relates a series of alleged corruption activities, including the authority’s role in funding a local commercial bank without following due processes. The report says government could have lost millions of dollars in the alleged corrupt activities. It names senior government officials and other private sector players who allegedly benefitted from corrupt deals. However, the accused officials were not given a chance to respond. The Zimbabwe Independent could also not locate them at the time writing. “It would appear that corruption has been perpetrated over a protracted period of time at Nssa with impunity. As a Member of Parliament, I have been approached by numerous people from across the board and inundated with complaints and evidence, hence my submission herein,” Mliswa wrote to Mnangagwa in a letter dated April 25, 2018. “I therefore hereby humbly submit the attached documents to prompt a full scale investigation into the allegations as detailed in the documents. It would be prudent for a forensic audit to follow the entire paper trail of the transactions as there are allegations of the existence of offshore accounts which would add credence to the corrupt affairs. I trust that the above is in order and that your esteemed office may deal with the matter accordingly.” Mliswa in the dossier further claims that evidence at hand suggests Nssa had been “captured by a mafia-like cabal” which includes government ministers, businessmen and other players. “These people are believed to be responsible for the rampant abuse of public funds in parastatal institutions on a massive scale,” reads the dossier in part. The Norton MP, according to the report, also blamed the problems at national flag carrier Air Zimbabwe conflicts of interest among former board members, a local bank and its executives. “Whilst there may very well be people serving prison sentences for crimes that occurred at the national airline, they are merely, but scapegoats for the underlying criminal conduct committed by those that were at the helm of the institution,” Mliswa wrote. Turning to the Posts and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (Potraz), Mliswa alleged the control Universal Services Fund (USF), which moved from the Office of the President to the authority, was meant to benefit some directors at Potraz. He said US$3 million was paid to local lawyers as “advisory fees” for the Telecel transaction. The attorneys allegedly in turn paid kickbacks to government officials who had facilitated the deal. Nssa bought Vimpelcom’s 60% shareholding in Telecel Zimbabwe for government through Zarnet two years ago for US$30 million. “Potraz was used to provide US$10 million to Zarnet, which used the money as a deposit for payment of shares in the mobile company Telecel. This was an illegal transaction,” Mliswa wrote. “One must wonder whether Econet and the International ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ►Mugabe: https://goo.gl/7eknBE ►Mnangagwa: https://goo.gl/Fv731w ►Chamisa: https://goo.gl/HtGeBg ► Hot news: https://goo.gl/J7mUhU ► ANC: https://goo.gl/x9xRAu ► Scandal: https://goo.gl/YGe8cw ► Zimbawe updates: https://goo.gl/2MJUjp .......................................................................................... It was fought between the South African Defence Force (SADF) and the People's Liberation Army of Namibia (PLAN), an armed wing of the South West African People's Organisation (SWAPO). The South African Border War resulted in some of the largest battles on the African continent since World War II and was closely intertwined with the Angolan Civil War. Following several decades of unsuccessful petitioning through the United Nations and the International Court of Justice for Namibian independence, SWAPO formed the PLAN in 1962 with material assistance from the Soviet Union, the People's Republic of China, and sympathetic African states such as Tanzania, Ghana, and Algeria. Fighting broke out between PLAN and the South African authorities in August 1966. Between 1975 and 1988 the SADF staged massive conventional raids into Angola and Zambia to eliminate PLAN's forward operating bases. It also deployed specialist counter-insurgency units such as Koevoet and 32 Battalion trained to carry out external reconnaissance and track guerrilla movements.South African tactics became increasingly aggressive as the conflict progressed. The SADF's incursions produced Angolan casualties and occasionally resulted in severe collateral damage to economic installations regarded as vital to the Angolan economy. Ostensibly to stop these raids, but also to disrupt the growing alliance between the SADF and the National Union for the Total Independence for Angola (UNITA), which the former was arming with captured PLAN equipment, the Soviet Union backed the People's Armed Forces of Liberation of Angola (FAPLA) through a large contingent of military advisers and up to four billion dollars' worth of modern defence technology in the 1980s. Beginning in 1984, regular Angolan units under Soviet command were confident enough to confront the SADF. Their positions were also bolstered by thousands of Cuban troops. The state of war between South Africa and Angola briefly ended with the short-lived Lusaka Accords, but resumed in August 1985 as both PLAN and UNITA took advantage of the ceasefire to intensify their own guerrilla activity, leading to a renewed phase of FAPLA combat operations culminating in the Battle of Cuito Cuanavale. The South African Border War was virtually ended by the Tripartite Accord, mediated by the United States, which committed to a withdrawal of Cuban and South African military personnel from Angola and South West Africa, respectively. PLAN launched its final guerrilla campaign in late March 1989. South West Africa received formal independence as the Republic of Namibia a year later, on 21 March 1990.Despite being largely fought in neighbouring states, the South African Border War had a phenomenal cultural and political impact on South African society. The country's apartheid government devoted considerable effort towards presenting the war as part of a containment programme against regional Soviet expansionism and used it to stoke public anti-communist sentiment. It remains an integral theme in contemporary South African literature at large and Afrikaans-language works in particular, having given rise to a unique genre known as grensliteratuur (directly translated "border literature").

SUMMARY ======= Zimbabwe (), officially the Republic of Zimbabwe, is a landlocked country located in southern Africa, between the Zambezi and Limpopo Rivers, bordered by South Africa, Botswana, Zambia and Mozambique. The capital and largest city is Harare. A country of roughly 16 million people, Zimbabwe has 16 official languages, with English, Shona, and Ndebele the most commonly used. Since the 11th century, present-day Zimbabwe has been the site of several organised states and kingdoms as well as a major route for migration and trade. The British South Africa Company of Cecil Rhodes first demarcated the present territory during the 1890s; it became the self-governing British colony of Southern Rhodesia in 1923. In 1965, the conservative white minority government unilaterally declared independence as Rhodesia. The state endured international isolation and a 15-year guerrilla war with black nationalist forces; this culminated in a peace agreement that established universal enfranchisement and de jure sovereignty as Zimbabwe in April 1980. Zimbabwe then joined the Commonwealth of Nations, from which it was suspended in 2002 for breaches of international law by its then-government, and from which it withdrew in December 2003. The sovereign state is a member of the United Nations, the Southern African Development Community (SADC), the African Union (AU), and the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA). It was once known as the "Jewel of Africa" for its prosperity.Robert Mugabe became Prime Minister of Zimbabwe in 1980, when his ZANU-PF party won the elections following the end of white minority rule; he was the President of Zimbabwe from 1987 until his resignation in 2017. Under Mugabe's authoritarian regime, the state security apparatus dominated the country and was responsible for widespread human rights violations. Mugabe maintained the revolutionary socialist rhetoric of the Cold War era, blaming Zimbabwe's economic woes on conspiring Western capitalist countries. Contemporary African political leaders were reluctant to criticise Mugabe, who was burnished by his anti-imperialist credentials, though Archbishop Desmond Tutu called him "a cartoon figure of an archetypal African dictator". The country has been in economic decline since the 1990s, experiencing several crashes and hyperinflation along the way.On 15 November 2017, in the wake of over a year of protests against his government as well as Zimbabwe's rapidly declining economy, Mugabe was placed under house arrest by the country's national army in a coup d'état. On 19 November 2017, ZANU-PF sacked Robert Mugabe as party leader and appointed former Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa in his place. On 21 November 2017, Mugabe tendered his resignation prior to impeachment proceedings being completed.

It is bounded to the south by 2,798 kilometres (1,739 mi) of coastline of Southern Africa stretching along the South Atlantic and Indian Oceans; to the north by the neighbouring countries of Namibia, Botswana, and Zimbabwe; and to the east and northeast by Mozambique and Swaziland (Eswatini); and it surrounds the enclaved country of Lesotho. South Africa is the largest country in Southern Africa and the 25th-largest country in the world by land area and, with over 57 million people, is the world's 24th-most populous nation. It is the southernmost country on the mainland of the Old World or the Eastern Hemisphere. About 80 percent of South Africans are of Sub-Saharan African ancestry, divided among a variety of ethnic groups speaking different African languages, nine of which have official status. The remaining population consists of Africa's largest communities of European (White), Asian (Indian), and multiracial (Coloured) ancestry. South Africa is a multiethnic society encompassing a wide variety of cultures, languages, and religions. Its pluralistic makeup is reflected in the constitution's recognition of 11 official languages, which is the fourth highest number in the world. Two of these languages are of European origin: Afrikaans developed from Dutch and serves as the first language of most coloured and white South Africans; English reflects the legacy of British colonialism, and is commonly used in public and commercial life, though it is fourth-ranked as a spoken first language. The country is one of the few in Africa never to have had a coup d'état, and regular elections have been held for almost a century. However, the vast majority of black South Africans were not enfranchised until 1994. During the 20th century, the black majority sought to recover its rights from the dominant white minority, with this struggle playing a large role in the country's recent history and politics. The National Party imposed apartheid in 1948, institutionalising previous racial segregation. After a long and sometimes violent struggle by the African National Congress (ANC) and other anti-apartheid activists both inside and outside the country, the repeal of discriminatory laws began in 1990. Since 1994, all ethnic and linguistic groups have held political representation in the country's liberal democracy, which comprises a parliamentary republic and nine provinces. South Africa is often referred to as the "rainbow nation" to describe the country's multicultural diversity, especially in the wake of apartheid. The World Bank classifies South Africa as an upper-middle-income economy, and a newly industrialised country. Its economy is the second-largest in Africa, and the 34th-largest in the world. In terms of purchasing power parity, South Africa has the seventh-highest per capita income in Africa. However, poverty and inequality remain widespread, with about a quarter of the population unemployed and living on less than US$1.25 a day. Nevertheless, South Africa has been identified as a middle power in international affairs, and maintains significant regional influence.

SUMMARY ======= Botswana ( ( listen)), officially the Republic of Botswana (Tswana: Lefatshe la Botswana), is a landlocked country located in Southern Africa. Formerly the British protectorate of Bechuanaland, Botswana adopted its new name after becoming independent within the Commonwealth on 30 September 1966. Since then, it has maintained a strong tradition of stable representative democracy, with a consistent record of uninterrupted democratic elections and the best perceived corruption ranking in Africa since at least 1998.Botswana is topographically flat, with up to 70 percent of its territory being the Kalahari Desert. It is bordered by South Africa to the south and southeast, Namibia to the west and north, and Zimbabwe to the northeast. Its border with Zambia to the north near Kazungula is poorly defined but is, at most, a few hundred metres long.A mid-sized country of just over 2 million people, Botswana is one of the most sparsely populated countries in the world. Around 10 percent of the population lives in the capital and largest city, Gaborone. Formerly one of the poorest countries in the world—with a GDP per capita of about US$70 per year in the late 1960s—Botswana has since transformed itself into one of the world's fastest-growing economies. The economy is dominated by mining, cattle, and tourism. Botswana boasts a GDP (purchasing power parity) per capita of about $18,825 per year as of 2015, which is one of the highest in Africa. Its high gross national income (by some estimates the fourth-largest in Africa) gives the country a relatively high standard of living and the highest Human Development Index of continental Sub-Saharan Africa.Botswana is a member of the African Union, the Southern African Development Community, the Commonwealth of Nations, and the United Nations. The country has been among the hardest hit by the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Despite the success in programmes to make treatments available to those infected, and to educate the populace in general about how to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS, the number of people with AIDS rose from 290,000 in 2005 to 320,000 in 2013. As of 2014, Botswana has the third-highest prevalence rate for HIV/AIDS, with roughly 20% of the adult population being infected.
