I assume you have the JD 3038e with a stock d-160 loader. Did you have any kind of JD add-on befoer geting the titan forks? I want to get some but I don't see them listed for a D-160 loaders. Advice much appreciated.

many thanks! a big fan of your videos
Interestingly enough, even John Deere's own website references that the 3038e is compatible with their 300 series loader: https://www.deere.com/en/loaders/loader_compatibility/. (but no reference to the D160) Then in another area on John Deere's website the D160 loader is referenced: https://www.deere.com/en/loaders/front-end-loaders-for-tractors/d160-loader/ Here is another reference on a separate website to the switch from the 305 to D160: https://www.muttonpower.com/t-john-deere-front-loader-tractor-compatibility.aspx
Thanks for watching and the question +Re Silc! Yes we do have the John Deere 3038e with the stock d160 loader and no, we did not have any kind of JD add-on to make the titan forks work. Part of the issue is the loader # changed from, I believe, 305 to D160 on some of the compact E series tractors. I did call ahead to Titan before we purchased ours to make sure that it would fit and also spoke with our dealership as well. Unfortunately, Titan has not updated their website so it still just references that they will fit the 200, 300, 400 & 500 series loaders. Ours fits perfectly and works great, even on the D160.

Those 3038Es are decent little tractors. I bought one for my wife a couple of years ago for Mother's Day. She enjoys it and it is much easer to operate than one of the big tractors (she says their clutches are too hard to push in). My son built a pallet fork attachment for her tractor. We cheaped out and bought the quick attach couplers (wasted $80). When we built a grapple for the 3038e, we wee able to fabricate the quick attach connectors.
Thanks for watching and the comment +CPUDOCTHE1!  The 3038E has been a great work horse for maintaining our property and I agree, it's easy enough for anyone to use.  Both my wife and son can easily operate it with no worries about a stiff clutch.
