Haha - broke my leg playing football. That'll teach me for doing exercise.
Yes, very good ales at Trillium.

This video hits home.. I grew up in new haven, loved the pizza and the beer, went to uconn and savored my trips to treehouse, and now live in boston and love trillium!
+Francis McKiernan dayum! Lucky you! One of the highlights of my beer career - didn't feature it but also went up to Portsmouth to see red hook and enjoy the old town.

I hope it was cold out when you made this if not you should have put those julius in a cooler!
haha, good point. It was about 10C so not quite fridge temp but still no real damage done.
Kristian Schepelern (1 year ago)
went to treehouse on a wednesday (releaseday apparently). a little jaloux that there's no limit on julius. the two beers we bought were one sixer each (haze / lights on)
M Arsenault (1 year ago)
I think Haze is my favorite, I have had a bunch of them, but not all. Living in northern CT has its perks...lol treehouse and trillium being basically both of them.
would love to try Haze, we haven't had that one

Massachusetts has the best breweries in the region.

i hate you. where are my bottles of TRILLIUM!!!! No other way to walk into Triliium brewing than with your arms up in the air
The Craft Beer Channel (2 years ago)
haha, I wasn't the first and I won't be the last.

This channel is showing off cool European and NE USA beers. Meanwhile stuck in the SE us. Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed some really great things, but driving 8 hours through small one road towns doesn't seem as nice when you realize others can drive 2-3 hours on a highway and get really awesome stuff
The Craft Beer Channel (2 years ago)
haha. Sorry for being the bearers of envy.
Steve Licht (2 years ago)

Two days from Philly to Boston? I guess I understand the need to stop at Treehouse, but, come on, I drove from NH to Philly in one morning, arriving in time for a 10:00 meeting.
KenN None (2 years ago)
Ahh, I left at 6:00 AM, that does make a difference.
The Craft Beer Channel (2 years ago)
Indeed, a shameful amount of time in a Mustang... but we left at 6pm on the first day because we were at the Craft Beer Conference.
TKS S (2 years ago)
Great to meet you at Cane and Grain for the Kona can launch - I think I owe you a beer!
The Craft Beer Channel (2 years ago)
good to meet you too! And don't worry about the beer, I did enough Treehouse trolling that you earned it.

What a rad hobby you guys have. I love my career, but I would love to take a week off here and there throughout the year and travel to all of these cool places and drink awesome beers. Maybe in the future... Cheers!

Treehouse is a bucket list beer for me, One day! One day!
M Arsenault (1 year ago)
where you from? you should check out some beer trading pages on facebook. Plenty of people in our area go to treehouse just to get beer to trade for other awsome brews only available in other parts of the country. LOL some even jokingly call it Trade House.

Have you been watching Casey Neistat ? the music and some of the shots are very much his style :D
The Craft Beer Channel (2 years ago)
haha, we have in the past but I just think it's what happens when crap film makers go solo - we didn't have the Brad on the US trip!
Jason (2 years ago)

Hey, John and Crew. I've been watching you guys for 2 years now and you've probably changed a lot in my life. You got my passion for beer started, seeded the idea of homebrewing, etc in me. But recently I got an internship with a high possibility of employment at a local microbrewery that I probably wouldn't have thought to apply for if I hadn't started watching you guys. Just wanted to make you guys aware of how cool you are. :P
The Craft Beer Channel (2 years ago)
AMAZING MAN! It's very fulfilling to know we're a part of your beer journey and possibly even career now. All the best with the internship!

was that jealousy...?
I never feel lucky living in Connecticut until someone reminds me of my proximity to some of the best beers in the country!
The Craft Beer Channel (2 years ago)
it's almost worth moving there to be close to them!
The Craft Beer Channel (2 years ago)
Extra note - videos about the beers we picked up are incoming soon! And you'll be relieved to know Jonny's leg is healed.
