Why would you use table rates over a Live Shipping Plugin that lets you print the labels and all?
Bogotastic (10 months ago)
Hi Darrel, there's no option to upgrade shipping methods?
Mr.Avo (1 year ago)
Question... Is there a plugin that allows you to do something as simple as this plugin but rather than pricing determines shipping/delivery cost one that does ZIP CODE(S) determining delivery cost?
jony ahmed (1 year ago)

Darrel, Thanks for the tutorial. I got this all setup exactly how I want it and I appreciate your videos very much. I have a question, though. What plugin would you use to encourage people to buy more in order to get free shipping? I plan on offering free shipping over $75 at my store. I know how to do that, but I'd like a notice to the customer that says "You're only $15 away from free shipping!" or something like that. I've found a plugin that will work, but I'd like to know what you would use for that since I always trust your opinion. BTW, I'm using DIVI, as you suggest. Thanks!

This is a great video & has helped me immensely. It's a good thing I'm a programmer or it would have flown over my head. Question though. I cannot find the instance I need. I have mystery boxes & set flat shipping rates for each product by size (sm, med, lg, x-lg)... If someone buys 2 small boxes & 1 large box I want each shipping charge calculated. I'll add a discount if the shipping exceeds a certain amount. I can't get the right format to work. Any suggestions?
Darrel Wilson (3 months ago)
or this type of sales, you need the woocommerce dynamic pricing plugin

Will this plugin allow you to combine shipping, you know usps always charges less when everything ships together. Any way to do this? I mean what example would you use to accomplish this? ;)
Mars Auto & Truck Parts (7 months ago)
Hey! I have some products that ship via large semi truck and other products I can ship via Fedex. I need three options of shipping with the Large products and only 1 option with the smaller... My problem is however all 4 shipping options appear on each product so the customer when ordering the large product always chooses the "Smaller $20" shipping option not the correct "Large $300-$450" shipping option. Not sure if this plugin will help me.

Dear devs, is that possible to set up per vendor shipping? I have a multivendor platform, every vendor has its own 4-5 kinds of shipping.

Darrel: We are working on a odd set of rules for WooCommerce. The seller wants to use a two option shipping method, which is a customer choice of "pick up at shop" or a "flat rate shipping rate." It is all one class of product and is not specifically a geographical driven rule? Is something like this possible in a WordPress tempate? Thanks and love your tutorials!
Darrel Wilson (10 months ago)
i appreciate it :) but for something like this you may need to ask woocommerce to see if they can help you with this solution : p

Hi, @Darrel Wilson! Thank you for this great video. But can this plugin help me set up the Free+ Shipping model for my store? Giveaway products for free and charge for shipping. For the other options I am facing a problem: I have free shipping on orders of $35 or more (so for paid products). I want to charge $9.99 as a flat rate shipping fee for each product I giveaway for free. When a customer adds to cart a paid product without reaching the minimum amount for free shipping, for each free product the $9.99 is charged ($19.98 for 2 free product for example). But when the minimum amount for free shipping is reached with free products in the same cart, any flat rate is charged. How can I set that up? I want the customer to pay the $9.99 flat rate shipping on each free product even if in his cart by reaching the $35 minimum amount he get free shipping on paid products.
Darrel Wilson (10 months ago)
this is a pretty large request, if you do need help i would suggest purchasing it from woocommerce and getting support for the plugin
Adrian Morais (11 months ago)
can you set it up by distance?
Darrel Wilson (10 months ago)
you can set by city and state, thats probably the closest thing youll get to distance

I am using ship station for a client - they sell mostly 1 thing but want it to change based on how far away they are shipping (which states). Are there any plugins for that?

Darrel Wilson (11 months ago)

Paul Hitchman (1 year ago)
Interesting stuff... tell me is there an option (if things get crazy) to Contact the Seller for shipping rates? Let's say someone wanted 13 fridges freezers shipped to Alaska Priority...
Paul Hitchman (1 year ago)
You're on the button with everything you do and THUMBS up again from me. Tell me, does woocommerce take a percentage from sales? Also is there an option to tell customers that if they spend i.e. an extra 12,50$ they get FREE shipping. A lot of sites I've used have this option and can save the customer money by spending more, always a good thing right?
Darrel Wilson (1 year ago)
no woocomerce doesnt take a part, your payment processor may. you can set free shpping on certain amounts, i dont know a plugin that knows their price and will tell them if they spend more
Ernesto Lara (1 year ago)
Is this Plugin Free?
Debbie Barker (11 months ago)
it is a one time buy, I just bought it. Keep in mind though that when there is an update it will not update automatically like it would if you purchased it from Woocommerce. What you will have to do is log back in to the woomill site periodically and if there is an update available you will have to manually update and install the new version.
Darrel Wilson (1 year ago)
you can get it on woomill for $10
Tonny Milfiger (1 year ago)
something with woomill didn't work probably setting issue . its ask me for zip code at the country rather then give me the option to choose what kind of shipping i want.... i will hire programer. but maybe troubleshoot in setting could be good tutorial idea
drsaraj1 (1 year ago)
Thanks, I was so frustrated with many issues but this short video cleared up many of my frustrations plus I bought the plugin and saved money as well.

hi mate. question, is it possible to give Shipping prices for each product? do you have to give each product a different Shipping class to do so? thanks
Timucin baard (1 year ago)
Darrel Wilson thanks for answering so quickly Darrel. one more question tho, on the plugin I downloaded there are no break & Abort options. which results in two Shipping options on check-out because I can't choose break. is this another version that I don't know about? I an using the plugin WooCommerce Table Rate Shipping. Thanks in advance

yes you can do that as well in the shipping classes. by creating a class for each product. or you can set a FLAT RATE for each of the products

curioMuseum (1 year ago)
Thank you so much for these videos. Your tutorials are the best. So, I have two classes. One is for gear (t-shirts and hats) and the other is for live lobsters. The shipping costs for each have a different set of rules (each one has its own class) but I need BOTH classes to add together in the cart. Not one of the other. Is this possible? I don't think it is..
Darrel Wilson (1 year ago)
you can set rules, i think i cover this in the tutorial
Curly Rae (1 year ago)
Thanks a ton! I've wasted 2 days with free plugins and finally stumbled on this $10 option. You have explained it thoroughly so I can finally get my website shipping operational. *gratitude

Hello Darrel I need some SERIOUS help. I have a few products that are Free and the buyer pays shipping. Then I have additional products where the buyer pays for the Products but the Shipping is Free. I am losing my hair in setting this up. The way I have it, if you add the paid product (free shipping) and the free product (paid shipping), Checkout only shows the price of the paid product, and the product where the customer needs to pay shipping, no charges show up, so basically, the customer is getting the product for free! (free product and no shipping charges).
Darrel Wilson (1 year ago)
you might want to get someone from freelancer to set this up for you, sounds like you are doing something wrong. The product prices shouldnt have to deal with the shipping options.

Hey Darrel, Thanks for the excellent tutorial. I wonder if you can help me. I am trying to set up a free plus shipping where the price of the product is $0.00 but shipping charge is say, $9.97. I have followed your tutorial and tried few times but cant seem to be able to do that. Any suggestions please?
Benjamin Leavitt (1 year ago)
Could you walk us through how to change the shipping based on which area codes it goes to AND the weight?
Hawaiian Shirt Dude (1 year ago)
Thanks for the tutorial. Unfortunately it appears this plug-in has yet to be tested with the current Woo Commerce version. Hopefully it gets an update soon. I think this might be what I need.

Excellent video Darrel! I created two Shipping Zones, USA and PR. But for PR I have the message "There are no shipping methods available". Since all products in the website are drop shipping I am using Shipping Classes on both Shipping Zones. Why I might be doing wrong? Any advice more than welcome!
Darrel Wilson (1 year ago)
make sure shipping is enabled. make sure those shippin methods are all available. There is probably a conflict somewhere :/ although i cant tell, it might be due to you not accomodating a certain method

Hey Darrel as usual a great job. I have the Divi Theme and most of your stuff like the layouts. Could you please do a video on making a Divi music theme for artist? Like selling albums and single songs? Nobody ever does this. We musicians are always left out in the cold. Come on Darrel! Make us an artist layout for musicians. Keep up the good work. I love Divi. It's perfect. You're the best. Peace.
Joe Coates (1 year ago)
Ok I would so love that. My wife is an artist. I would think you would do a Woo comm page and PayPal but you know secrets I don't to make the rest of the site. Thanks for responding. Enjoy the weather out there. Cincinnati is freezing. Peace
Darrel Wilson (1 year ago)
yeah not gonna lie, there isnt much for musicians or real estate. I will take a look around and see what i can do
Christine Hajari (1 year ago)
Have you ever used woomills UPS or USPS pluggins?
Christine Hajari (1 year ago)
okay, I got the woomill UPS plugin, and it literally made my entire site crash where I had to reload from a backup.. I really wanted the UPS one to work because that is mostly how we will be shipping, and when I looked at the demo site they offer it had all the options I wanted, without me needing to set so many rules, because of item sizes and weight variances...though the crashing could've been me installing incorrectly...
Darrel Wilson (1 year ago)
yeah i have, i personally think this is better. The usps can be very difficult to work 100% at times

I would like to get this product but have found that 3 other similar plugins were not able to do the following; Is it possible to have a flat rate fee that can be charged on each additional products of the same item? Plus also have other products that are free shipping on the same website? Thanks for your help...
Darrel Wilson (1 year ago)
im kind of confused. The best option would be if you really really need to than get it from woocommerce and they can provide support
BlackDeath12345 (1 year ago)

+Darrel Wilson what will happen if a customer buys from 2 different vendors but the total cost is above the free shipping limit. Can this plugin be customized to make free shipping when purchased from the same vendor?
Arunabho Majumder (1 year ago)
"set each vendor's product as a category. Then set a priority to which one will cost more."Can you describe a little bit? I already have product category!!By category do you mean classes?
Darrel Wilson (1 year ago)
you can set each vendors product as a category. Than set a priority to which one will cost more. This will help you make sure shipping doesnt come out of your pocket
