Love the vid. Love the channel. But could you maybe bleep out the "f***ing" language. I know the show is meant for adults, but I often play on the TV in the house. Or maybe a quick warning would be cool.

+Brian Molloy hey man, we actually do that most of the time now. The odd one sneaks through for comic effect but we are now almost clean!

My heart skipped a beat when I saw Boulevard beer there! I'm a Kansas City native (Kansas side, not Missouri, but we all agree on the beer) who lives in the UK now, I miss Boulevard more than any other beer from the USA.

They both look mouth watering, but - where is the recipe! Please :)

I'VE HAD THAT BEER! (The Oakham) Oh man. It's so rare for me to see you guys talk about stuff that I've seen or tried over here, because for some reason Canada hates importing cool European beer.
Brandon Spanis (3 years ago)
Not a ton. A lot of the big German ones, like Weihenstephaner, Erdinger. Would love to find some Brewdog and Dark Star, but I've never seen them. The list is so long! Breaks my heart a little bit when you talk about stuff that I'm certain I'd love, but know I'll likely never try. I'm from Ontario, and we have a ton of craft breweries all over. I really dig Wellington Brewery right now; nothing they've made has disappointed me. Bellwoods Brewery is right around the corner from my place, and it's probably one of the most impressive tiny operations I've seen. Great Lakes Brewery and Oast House Brewers are both hit or mis, but have some excellent saisons and IPAs. Sawdust City Brewing Co. has definitely blown me away with their production this year; so many of my favourites came from them. Lake of Bays Brewing Company, Beau's Brewing Company, and Flying Monkeys Craft Brewery all have some stellar stuff amongst some (maybe mostly) mediocrity. My long-time favourite, and introduction to craft beer, is a brewery in Quebec called Unibroue. La Fin Du Monde still stands as one of my favourite beers of all time.

Awesome it got all the way to you! What else do you get over there? And what Canadian beers should we look out for?
Real Ale Craft Beer (3 years ago)
Yes please Welsh Rare Bit. Going to give this a go, cheers Jonny.

Both look superb!

Improve the French Guy cooking receipe by turning your "croque monsieur" into a "croque madame". Add an egg on top. The runny yolk will make the "croque" all the better ! (Advice from the Belgian cooking guy)

"egg yokes that is ... $#!+"

Wohoo! Go KC! I wasn't expecting my hometown brewery to show up.

Hi there!!! Nice video!! I wanted to ask you how much does a greek beer cost in UK?
Lynn Pratt (3 years ago)
So cool to see a beer from my home town being loved across the pond :) Tank 7 is one of my favorites!
aR0ttenBANANA96 (3 years ago)
I love rarebit. But with my family being french I can't deny the croque monsieur.
HopZine (3 years ago)
Made Croque Madame they other weekend. Nice runny poached egg takes things to the next level.
The Craft Beer Channel (3 years ago)
Fancypants. Sounds good!
HopZine (3 years ago)
So is Tank 7 available in the UK yet? I heard Boulevard beers were going to be avoidable soon since Duvel Moortgat bought them out.
The Craft Beer Channel (3 years ago)
Some distributers are bringing it in. Try the usual beer sites and it'll turn up! Can't remember which I got it from.
Peter Jensen (3 years ago)
Tank 7 is amazing! Easily one of my favorite beers, and great with all sorts of food. Boulevard's Long Strange Tripel is also excellent, if you can find it over there.
The Craft Beer Channel (3 years ago)
not come across it but hopefully it will come over soon now Duvel own the brewery.

+The Craft Beer Channel I like where you're going with that but unfortunately I have no Chimay Red (just gave my Chimay Blue to a friend). I have a keg of Leffe Blonde in my Perfect Draft, Westvleteren Blond and 2 racks of TW12, a case of an American beer called Yuengling, various flavors of a chick beer called Lindemans and some stuff I've never seen before. I'll have to take a photo of it and post it to your FB page. FYI, we drank a German beer tonight by the Schonbuch Brauhaus near Stuttgart, GE. Very good beer. I live about 30 minutes from the  Schonbuch brewery.

+EarMode if you're having a nice rich gravy, go for a Belgian dubbel like Chimay Red
EarMode (3 years ago)
I agree and tonight I'm making Bangers and Mash for my wife. Just wish I knew what beer to serve...hmmmm
What a great tiiiiiiiiime ! Jonny you are a tough competitor I must admit :)
The Craft Beer Channel (3 years ago)
Ha, yeah it was great fun. Gutted I couldn't steal the win though.
Beer Today (3 years ago)
Try it with one egg next time, Johnny, because, as you now know, one egg is un oeuf
The Craft Beer Channel (3 years ago)
EarMode (3 years ago)
Dude, un oeuf = an egg.
The Craft Beer Channel (3 years ago)
+EarMode sadly not that night, but we do go to the pub whenever we're in the same town.
EarMode (3 years ago)
+The Craft Beer Channel You know what? It was really cool that you asked how to say something in French. Did you guys really go out to the pub afterwards?
The Craft Beer Channel (3 years ago)
well I know that NOW....
EarMode (3 years ago)
I would have used a Chimay fromage.
The Craft Beer Channel (3 years ago)
Would have been a nice touch.
