Hi Darrel, I've put the API Key into my IMPREZA Theme. After that I've put a Google Maps element info my site with the WP Bakery Builder and added the address. I have two issues: 1. Why do I use the API Key when I need to add the address in the plugin later? I didn't say the address while set up the API. 2. My map shows the right position in the map but just far away in the sky over the city. I dont't know how to zoom in automatically.

Man, it's not a tutorial on how to add google maps api key in "Wordpress", but in "Wordpress (Flatsome) Theme", could you change the title so people wouldn't get it wrong?

Can you update this video please, apparently you have to pay now to have google maps on your site?
Darrel Wilson (1 month ago)
pretty lame, i know when i made this they were not charging for api keys
Barış Mustafa (2 months ago)
Google Maps API key now requires billing information. It will be mandatory after 11th of Juno. It will be pay as you go but upto certain point will be free. After exceeding this limit you will be charged.

Google is now charging to get an api Key?
Darrel Wilson (2 months ago)
sigh, so sad, looks like they are
Superhydrophobic Coating (2 months ago)
Totally useless. Where did you put address information to get a specific API key?!
Bruno Slam (2 months ago)
Why am i asked to create a billing account ? Is it free ?
Syntax Error (2 months ago)
It appears Google has instituted a forced billing system. It appears you cant get the free service, without having a credit card on file. Mine was also trying to force me to accept a free trial of google cloud services.
Dušan Stojadinović (2 months ago)
I have the same problem.
Barış Mustafa (2 months ago)
i think the billing option is new. I am waiting for Darrel Wilson to reply. Hopefully soon he will.

@Darrel it would be great if you made a new video explaining how to have the google map without slowing down your WP page. As far as I remember Google maps sends like 50+ requests on load. I know that there are some plugins out there that solve this issue but I have not yet found anything really great.

Can you do a July 2018 update? Google is making changes 😢
Alex Meyer (1 month ago)
Awesome it works, thanks so much!
Barış Mustafa (1 month ago)
Alex Meyer go to google maps. Select your location my typing the address, than click on share and embed the code. Once you have the embed code of the map, go to flatsome page builder, add full width text, without clicking on the text box on the left, paste the code.

Hey. Please can you help me. Google have updated their API key process and its impossible. Everytime I select a project and press continue it just loops back to asking me to select a project. Any ideas or tips? Thanks

You need a video on how to embed a google map that has a custom GIS geojson file within it, I.e. polygon boundaries. These tutorials only work with simple google maps with markers but not with complex ones with geojson layers. I heard you need to use a whole host of php hook scripts to do that but no real tutorial on it.
