As an easy way to exemplify the differentiation between the risk and hazard, this video is really good. Except, I disagree partly about some of the hazards. For example, the guy falling off the building, the real hazard is the actual fall, and the risk is the likelihood of him falling. Being on the top off the building may induce the likelihood, but it’s not the actual hazard in that case. He may be hit by a plane for an over exaggerated example while standing there, and thus the hazard would be the plane and the likelihood (risk) being higher as he is in that position.
