Hii, if we see a doji forming in the morning itself, then do we book out then an then?
Johnny Soares (1 year ago)
Hi. So when do you exit?? END OF DAY or when you see a wick forming in opp direction no matter at what time??
Manikandan R (4 months ago)
once in profits, can always push SL into profit zone
Johnny Soares (1 year ago)
Understood that we take a long or short position by 3.28 pm .. but when we have to exit our position do we have to wait till eod or shud we exit the moment we see a stick on the side opposite of our direction.
Ashwini Khanna (6 months ago)
For exiting, exit the moment you see the wick. No need to wait till eod.

Super video. I don't know how i missed this for such a long time. Just one doubt, when you say go long, should it be at the end of the day or at the flat bottom ? Pl clarify.
Kallol (2 years ago)
Quick question: How will you enter "on the day" when there is a flat bottom or flat top. You wont come to know before the market ends that it would be flat bottom or flat top, isnt it? So, would you take position on next day open or am I missing something?
Manikandan R (2 years ago)
yes, will need to wait for EOD close ... say till 3:15 PM ...

Hi sir , This strategy use for NF , BNF or STOCK FUTURES also ?
JAM (2 years ago)
While it seems easy what people need is the stomach to hold their positions and entry and exit is key while using this strategy. I have been using this strategy and have quite a few heart in the mouth situations where it drops below the buy price and i wonder whether I shud hold. I keep the stop loss at the open price of the previous candle for both long and short.

sunny Dayal (3 years ago)
Hi, Mani: Ur videos r effortlessly simple and top notch. Could u pls make a dedicated video on hedging (options), on positional trading. What should be the hedging quantity i.e call quantity to put quantity and which factors decide it. Thnx in advance.
Manikandan R (3 years ago)
+sunny Dayal ... i think i have made a few videos on hedge options ... always do that with lesser capital ... as capital goes higher, you need to go for more consistent play
Shivaprakash (3 years ago)
Hi mani sir.. Thank U For the Video. I have Doubt In Intraday time frame ( either to select 5 mins Or 15 Mins or 30 mins ) in candle per day.
kumropotashify (3 years ago)
I use the site www.bse2nse.com to enter positional trades, but only after proper technical analysis and trade signals using Tradescript. I must admit that your tips make it easier to identify and select profitable trade setups.
Sir, this vedio is very useful. But where to obtain this technical softwre?

Digital Solutions (3 years ago)
how to use it for Intraday quick profits? which other indicators to use along with to avoid whipshaws?
Manikandan R (3 years ago)
+Shreya D.R. ... Intraday has many noises ... So its crucial to trade only when big moves happen ... Opening hour and post lunch if mid day is calm are 2 time frames i will look to trade ...
Jagadish M (3 years ago)
really very nice Mani,,,, I never understood any of the video like this...thx a lot.
Boudewijn G (3 years ago)
Interesting and simple method. What about a Doij followed by a candle with both a flat bottom and a flat top? Which scale is best. Week, day or intra?
Manikandan R (3 years ago)
+Boudewijn G ... Doji after a flat bottom or flat top is a pause in trend, advised to book profits if in profits ...
Shyam Rao (3 years ago)
Can one use this for intraday position in options too or is it accurate only for the day or week?
Shyam Rao (3 years ago)
+Manikandan R May I request you for a similiar video for intra day trading on option (nifty) I follow your 1-2 point difference model and it is quite efficent and successful even the expiry week model is beneficial but for daily trading is there anything else in technicals which one can follow! will be obliged - Thanks
Manikandan R (3 years ago)
+Shyam Rao .... intraday will have noises ... if you learn how to avoid noises, you can use ... Avoiding noises will come with experience ... practice on daily chart to start with
satyajit dasgupta (3 years ago)
Hi, Mr.Mani I have few concerns on this topic, as per my understanding on this video : 1. We have to wait for the entire day to take position, we can't enter into in between the day to take positions ? 2. If a see a flat bottom weather green or red at the end of the day, I decide to take long/sort or call/put option for the day day to take, and if the market opens gap up gap down, how this chart handle this situation ? 3. Currently in the market, one may see flat bottom at the end of the day but the next day is the market react completely different, which is going on right now, how the chart works on this ? Please clarify, Thanks,
Manikandan R (3 years ago)
+satyajit dasgupta ... 1) yes, you have to wait till EOD, unless you are sure of the intraday moves ... 2) Gap ups /downs may upset trend ... which looks less likely from what i have seen so far ... So following this consistently shd end up in profits eventually ... 3) Even in the volatile markets, last 3 months, it had 80% profitable trades and overall in profits ... You can back test
Teja Laveti (3 years ago)
Great video...! I have a small doubt. By going short, do you mean to sell the call option or buy the put option. Because selling options requires lot of margin.
Manikandan R (3 years ago)
+Teja Laveti ... You can short in Futures ... and Sell far away Puts for insurance

Manikandan R (3 years ago)
