I just found a new(ish) plugin which will allow you to use affiliate links in your variable products. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to use it, but it seems to work flawlessly. https://wordpress.org/plugins/amb-variable-affiliate-products-for-woocommerce/

This is really great! However, in my circumstance, the paperback is purchase through Amazon using the External/Affiliate Product and the ebook from my server. I'm having trouble making a products page that allows the paperback purchase to go through Amazon.

Ok, I have something a bit more complicated and Shopify can't handle it. I'm hoping Woocommerce can. I also have a book. But, my 4 variants are: paperback, ebook, audiobook, and Bundle (All 3 Formats). The bundle is creating problems for me during fulfillment/shipping. Because the bundle contains digital products, Shopify fulfills it automatically when it sends the download email. But, I need it to stay "Unfulfilled" to import into my shipping integration "Pirateship." They said they can't do that. Can I with woocommerce? Can I have a product that is BOTH digital and physical and have the digital part emailed but have the shipping info sent to shipping partner and not marked as fulfilled until I have printed shipping label. Here is my current listing of the product: whengodwrecksyourromance.com.

Hey there! Setting it up like this it is intended as though it is your product. If you want to set it up as an external i.e an affiliate product you do it this way https://woocommerce.com/videos/woocommerce-external-affiliate-product-overview/ . I may do a video on setting up affiliate products in the future. Hope that helps.

Very helpful, but how do you create the eBook option to have sub-options for different ebook types (PDF, MOBI etc.)?
