+Cloud Radix Is there a way to dynamically filter the drop down search options ? For example, we have 3 drop-down selections : ---------------------------------------- 1.Diesel/Petrol || 2.Brand Name || 3.Model Number || --------------------------------------- If Under DIESEL/PETROL, petrol is selected, then BRANDS drop-down selection should be dynamically populated with ONLY petrol branded cars, And basing on the selection of BRAND NAME drop-down MODEL NUMBERS should populate , Please.

+Jaswanth Jesse I'm terribly sorry to say that we've not been active in WordPress development since the video was made two years ago. I do recall having to deal with this situation and my best memory on it was to ensure you are using the variable attributes. Variable attributes allowed us to declaratively define the dynamic function we needed. I am super sorry that we cannot be more helpful on that topic but I assure you when you move into #progressivewebapps #pwa - you'll love our #opensource #support of them. Check out https://shopapp.io to see what I'm talking about. It's a #shop #app #demo we built with Google's guidance and resources to showcase a better #user #experience for #shopping online. It's definitely more involved than point and click GUI #development but we're #building #webcomponents every day that will make #gui in #webapps that store #offline and #addtohomescreen a reality for all #developers - coming soon... https://siteapp.io https://pageapp.io and https://itemapp.io in the second quarter of 2017. Thanks for the turorial. I have one question if you dont mind. I have the plugin installed, have the left sidebar replaced and selected all pages i want it to be shown on. However, i get to see the widgets/sidebar on the shop page. No other page is showing it, even after selecting it. You might have an idea what im missing here?

Hello, thank you so much for this tutorial you literally saved my life because my wordpress theme isn't compatible with any of the product filter :( This works great but I do have a minor question, it doesn't seem like there is "unfilter" from this attribute filter. Do you know is there's a way to do so? Thank you!
Hey, Thanks for the clear tutorial! I only have one more problem. Is it realy necessary to put the variations off? Because I still want customers to change from size when they are seeing the product, And if I switch it to off they wont have that opportunity anymore Thank you in advance

Cloud Radix (2 years ago)
Is this a site or app you want built?
Chris Taylor (2 years ago)
This is the best video I've see so far on how to do this. However I cannot figure out how to put the drop downs or lists (whichever is chosen) on a page. I'm using the current version of Woocommerce and the Virtue Premium theme. Any help you can give me would be great.

+Cloud Radix Thank you for this video, it is the best I've seen. Question: for some reason I cannot see price filter widget or layered nav widget only regular widgets. Have you encountered such a problem?
mininijafan (3 years ago)
thanks :)

+mininijafan You are most welcome. It's the Open Source thing to do =)
Could you, please, explain me how did you get "Woocommerce sidebar" I saw at 6:04?
Noam Flint (3 years ago)
+Юрий Дзембак I think it was done using WooSidebars (http://www.woothemes.com/woosidebars/) - it allows you to create page specific sidebars. +Cloud Radix correct me if I'm wrong

Lakshay Vohra (3 years ago)
wouldn't this also show these filters on women's page??
Ken Button (3 years ago)
+Lakshay Vohra not unless that's the desired behavior we are seeking. We can override global control at the granular level on up by how we categorize and the use of attributes.
Nicolas Rapiera (4 years ago)
Thank you!!
Cloud Radix (4 years ago)
You are most welcome +Nicolas Rapiera - we'll be putting up more videos on WooCommerce related topics in the near future.
