Hi Artifice Marketing (or if anyone else can help me out!), So I can add variable products, that's fine. However, what if the situation was that you didn't (and never will) have the Black Non-Curly beard? Is there any way to get it so that when the user selects BROWN in the top form, they'll be able to choose CURLY and NON-CURLY in the bottom form, but if the user selects BLACK in the top form, the only option will be CURLY in the 2nd form?I'm trying to add products with 10+ variations, and each of them have 2+ variations so it's quite tricky.... am I asking too much, or is it possible? Cheers, great vids keep it up!
Patrick Weir (1 year ago)
Thanks for this. Do you know the answer to, adding a new product and using the same variations from one product to the other so you don't have to do all the variations again if the product is almost the same.

Again a brilliantly instructive video - I was being driven mad by the ones sent by my web developer and they had me thinking I was just too dumb to work this out, but the pace and logical sequence that you presented the material has made it all crystal clear - you are a natural educator and if you ever want a change of careers you should consider teaching!!! thank you so much!!

I followed your instruction on adding product attributes and variations and everything shows fine, but when I make a selection on the actual web page for these items, the image does not show up.  Yes, I did add an image to the left of each item variation and in the product gallery along with the featured image.  What did I do wrong????

Thanks for the video, it's really helpful. My product allows for custom names on the product itself. I thought maybe if I added an attribute and the type was 'Text' instead of 'Select' that it might work, but it didn't. Is there a way I can give my customers some kind of field to type in their custom name? Preferably with a limit on amount characters that can be used. Thanks!!

Hi thanks for the vid.  I do not sell t-shirts.  I sell candy both sugar free and conventional in different sizes and with other options.  Can I do this in WooCommerce?  I did not fully get the gist for setting up attributes and variables and a clear definition/description of each plus their functions.   (I am using customizer theme)
Mugarura Cavin (3 years ago)
Good video, the scenario am trying to address is different, you have a product T - shirt that costs $15 but when you select a color, some colors are free e.g. White - $0, Blue $5 (extra) in other words you have a base price for the product but different prices for add ons.
Jon Nicklin (3 years ago)
Great Video --- after I set my variations on some products i keep getting  "Sorry, this product is unavailable. Please choose a different combination."  on some of the variations--- do you know what I am doing wrong -- thanks a 1,000,000
Jon Nicklin (3 years ago)
forgot to add i am adding 5 attributes with 5 variations per attribute -- is this too much !!!! :-)
Tyler M (3 years ago)
I followed these steps but nothing happens when I click add variation or link all variations, is there any known solution? I've tried disabling plug ins, changing browsers, re-listing the product nothing seems to work.

Hey! I liked your beards! I am looking to configure a subscription product that allows variations of subscriptions in WooCommerce. I watched a video about it, but it didn't seem to cover all the bases I was looking for. If you have a chance to inform me about how to do that it would be sweet! Thanks!

How do you restrict an item of a specific variation?
travelfootprints (3 years ago)
Thank you for sharing this video. Sorry if this has already been asked. I am just setting up my Woocommerce. For example what if I was adding hundreds of different t-shirts all offered in small, medium, large and x-large and the corresponding prices. Would I have to add the variations and prices for each individual t-shirt? Is there a way to add hundreds of products that all have the same variations that is less time consuming. Thank you
Tagglive Vidzz (3 years ago)
my variation are not showing
Chris Cooper (3 years ago)
Have you got prices on all your products? The same thing happened but it was because I didn't have prices on each variation.
Tagglive Vidzz (3 years ago)
I figured it out im doing each product individually. But i do have a question once a item is ordered on the top upper hand corner of the screen it shows the order is there any way to take that down Also how can i put a intro video on my homepage its a white board sketch video
Artifice Marketing (3 years ago)
Can you do a video screen capture for me?
Tagglive Vidzz (3 years ago)
any recommendations
Tagglive Vidzz (3 years ago)
well i'm running the theme "gridster" premium. I have all my attributes but when i go to do my variations it is not showing all the variations on the website. Maybe showing something like small to 2xlarge
Peter Felperin (3 years ago)
Thank you for a clear, concise tutorial.   After watching it, I successfully added variations to my client's products.  Thanks again.
kennyflyer1 (3 years ago)
Hi rocking video! I have a question tough, let’s say i have 25 different color variations of t-shirts and i want to apply them to every design i have, taking into account i have around 150 designs that would made some 3750 possible combinations. Can this combinations be made by the user on the website, i.e. uploading all of my 25 colors and the designs with transparent background to lay over the t-shirts, or do i necessarily need to upload each and every image for every combination? Is there any extension or plugin to do this? Please help!

Hi, I have followed your very helpful video's but I have an issue with my page. When I add the image options they do not show in the drop down selection options- I thought it was a theme issue so tried to change to the suggested Barberry theme but that does not seem to be an active option within the theme search in WP. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

I had research and re search for woocommerce product variations with multiple options for food topping and so far nothing. For example, a Bakery or Pizza company, if someone wants cookies but would like to add a topping and pay extra. How do you create that option? I had tried severe; time and it shows but doesn't add it up to the Cart… Help!
Artifice Marketing (4 years ago)
Hey +mstudio19 I think I can help you out with that. Give me a day or two to do some research and put a video together. Do you mind sending me your site in a private message? It would allow me to get a better idea of your specific needs.
