Glad I saw this! I'm briefly visiting London very soon and this (I just bought the book for Kindle) will make my taproom decisions much easier. Cheers!

Where is the Be Cool Liz hat from? New subscriber from Australia..visiting in May 2018, Hubby is excited for the Breweries! 👍🏻
it was a bespoke made hat! A 30 Rock quote... that's how geeky Jonny is and how wonderful his girlfriend is.

Congrats on the new book guys, it's been way too long since I visited the big smoke for some beer, GBBF is definitely on the cards this year.

Greetings from Brazil! cheers!
well hey Brazil!
Great video and the book is amazing, you guys seriously nailed it. I'm really glad you included so much history and background on the pubs and breweries and didn't make it a bog standard guide book. I only visited Howling Hops for the first time a couple of months back but that place is seriously impressive!
hey man - so relieved by the feedback on the book! We're really proud of it, and hopefully despite all the changes happening it will stand the test of time!

Random question but what's the song? Its now stuck in my head and I cant always watch this video to listen to it, however good it is for your adsence! ;) Look forward to getting the book as well

Thanks!
if you google "youtube audio library" and look up Otis McDonald, we pretty much exclusively use his stuff. It's all royalty free and banging mash ups of different styles.

Good choices. Particularly given they're all so close to other taprooms - like Anspach & Hobday near BBNo and Crate near Howling Hops. The Bermondsey Bottle Shop near A&H is my favourite place at the moment, they're importing some mad beers.
SUPERHYPE.

I will be there! Along with a few of my beer loving friends. I'm a backer! SUPERHYPE.
yeah bottleshop do a great job of getting in the West Coasters. The Beer Merchants Tap is about to open right by Howling Hops too. An exciting area!

Ive visited all of those apart from BBNo. Being in north London I generally don't go south of the river but I might make an exception soon! Just to give a shout out to one of the little guys - I visited the Hammerton Brewery tap (not the pub) recently and it was decent. Central-ish location and good vibes.
We love that place too, it's in the book but not the vid.
How about not being so Metro-centric guys?? I know Larndon is where you are based but there are many, many more breweries and tap rooms around the country that equal what you have shown in this vid..... How about visiting Leeds, Manchester or Sheffield to name but a few..... Keep up the good work though... cheers
Tell ya what, we do need to do Leeds proper. The only time we went we got too drunk to film...so we'll fix that for sure!
Well a swift response makes for a happy viewer.... Spread the love fellas, come up North where its bleak and dark..... we have loads of delights to sample North of the Watford Gap - and I do mean beer of course.... Cheers
Well to be fair this one was in support of a book about London! Otherwise we haven't done a vid on a London brewery since September... Next week's vid is from Cornwall if that helps, and then Ireland the week after that.

Wow! Shows how long ago I visited Beavertown, things have changed. Not been to BBNo since they opened the new tap room but that is top of my list next time I'm in London.

I always buy their coffee porters when I see them. great stuff
yeah he's a great guy, lovely food too. The coffee porters coming out of BBNO are the best I have ever tasted.
Chris Green (1 year ago)
I think BBNo's beer has improved massively since they opened the new taproom, too. Well worth checking out - plus the guy who cooks pork steaks out the front is great too.
Yeah it's huge now! New BBNO space is great, but you can get in amongst the tanks still too.
